The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania advises Lithuanian citizens against all travel to Russia due to a lack of available flight options and those in Russia should depart.
The Foreign Ministry notes that the airspace of the European Union is closed to Russian airplanes, and EU companies’ aircraft is not allowed to enter Russia. Thus, it is only possible to leave Russia by air via non-EU member countries. You can also leave Russia using available land transportation options.
Please note that Lithuanian citizens are not allowed to travel from Russia to Belarus and all travel to regions bordering with Ukraine should be avoided.
The Foreign Ministry has also advised against all travel to Belarus and urged Lithuanian citizens to leave the country.
The EU airspace is closed for Belarusian airplanes, but you can leave Belarus by air via other countries.
