Music festival “The nights of Užutrakis ’18”

Music Festival The Nights of Užutrakis is one of the most significant cultural events that best represent Trakai and Lithuania. With its start in 2005, it has been featuring prominent Lithuanian performers and world’s leading musicians.

The Nights of Užutrakis has been gaining vast popularity among the music fans. The concerts that take place in Užutrakis Mansion House, situated in the background of Trakai Castle and surrounded by the Lake Galvė, capture the audience’s attention with its unique concept, as the music lovers are given a wonderful opportunity to enjoy beautiful music while admiring the majestic scenery of the park developed by a famous French landscape architect Edouard Francois Andre, as well as sailing boats and yachts in the Lake Galvė.
The festival is particularly beneficial in adding vitality to one of the most important objects of the Lithuanian heritage by revealing its beauty through the magic of music.

Favela Nordica
Zé Kouyaté (kamalengoni, vocals, percussion, guitar, Brazil), Luiz Black (percussion, Brazil),
Remigijus Rančys (woodwind, melodion, kalimba, percussion), Andrius Balachovičius (accordion), Gediminas Svilas (bass guitar)

Programme includes pieces inspired by African, Brazilian, and Lithuanian ethnic motives

“The Light” Jazz Music Festival
Laureate of the Shure Montreux Jazz Voice Competition Festival Arta Jekabsone (vocals, Latvia/USA)
