Vilnius City Fiesta

New Circus Weekend’18

Acrobats, clowns, performance artists, video – this is not your average childhood circus. Local and international troupes at New Circus Weekend present the circus as an art form taking its cues from the theatre arts. It’s a rare chance to see human limits being pushed in contemporary circus performances.

Loftas Fest

The Day of The Opera

Enjoy a bit of music history and celebrate the Day of the Opera in a palace. Educational activities, opera screenings, and lectures will be interesting for children and adults alike. Fun fact: the first opera was staged in Vilnius on 4 September 1636.

So get ready to see the streets filled with cosplayers and colourful anime characters.

Danske Bank Vilnius Marathon

If jogging or running is your thing, test your stamina and strength along with 14,000 people at the Danske Bank Vilnius Marathon. A souvenir medal for finishing any distance will surely earn you bragging rights for the whole year. So choose from the 42, 21, 10, or 4.2 km distances, put on your running shoes and go!

Comic Con Baltics

Celebrate pop culture at this highly anticipated annual event. The main language of the event is English, so you’ll be sure to talk to the actors and directors on hand, and take part in the various discussion panels. The autograph session is your chance to meet and mingle with the likes of RICK COSNETT (Vampire Diaries) and JANESHIA ADAMS-GINYARD (Black Panther), among many others.
